Facilitation tip N°7: The partners' pact

💡 To avoid the "free rider" phenomenon or any other kind of conflict within teams, you can give players a sense of responsibility by asking them to draft the partners' pact.

This is a document in which they decide how to distribute the points of their final grade. Much like a compensation policy, they can opt for a logic where everyone puts in the same effort and receives the same grade, or a logic where those who work harder are rewarded.

By knowing these rules from the very start of the game, every player is motivated to find their place within the group.
